DALLAS -- Congressman Colin Allred today released his closing ad, highlighting his bipartisan record delivering results for North Texas. Allred discusses his work to preserve protections for those with pre-existing health conditions, his fight to pass the US-Mexico-Canada trade deal and his work to bring a new VA hospital to Garland. The ad started running on broadcast and cable in the Dallas market today.
The ad also highlights Allred’s endorsements for reelection from the Dallas Morning News editorial board and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Both of which cite his record of delivering results and his bipartisan work as reasons for their endorsements.
“I was born and raised here in the 32nd District and I work every day in Congress to represent the values I learned growing up here,” said Allred. “If it’s good for North Texas, I am going to pursue it. Just like I did with the Garland VA, the bipartisan trade deal with Mexico, and my work to protect our health care. I will always put North Texas first and I’ll keep working with both parties to deliver results.”
“Make A Difference” Ad Script:
The work I have done has been to try and bring people together around good ideas that we can actually pass, and that make a difference in your lives.
Over 70% of the bills I have cosponsored in Congress have been bipartisan.
I’ve led the fight to protect coverage for people like my mom who has a pre-existing condition.
We passed the USMCA that’s going to create good jobs right here in Texas.
And I’ve worked with both parties to deliver a VA hospital in Garland.
If it’s good for North Texas, I’m going to pursue it.
