DALLAS -- Congressman Colin Allred has earned the endorsement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and was named a Freshman Friend of Business. The endorsement cites his bipartisan voting record, and his work to pass the U.S.-Mexico-Canada (USMCA) trade agreement which supports thousands of jobs in North Texas.
“I will always fight for the small businesses and workers that power our economy in North Texas,” said Allred. “I’m proud of my record and I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. North Texas is at its best when our government, workers and business leaders all work together to create good-paying jobs and grow our economy.”
In the letter of endorsement Thomas J. Donohue, CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce said of Allred:
“In challenging times, we are reminded of the importance of having leaders who understand the genius of the American system of government and free enterprise and who are willing to tackle the hard problems that confront our nation. Your continued leadership in Congress will benefit the nation as we combat the coronavirus, work to restore economic growth, and expand opportunities for all Americans.”
