Colin Allred Endorses Slate of Texas Candidates Working to Build a Better Future for Our State and Flip Key Offices
DALLAS — Congressman Colin Allred (TX-32) today announced his initial slate of endorsements which includes 13 Texans, nine of whom are challenging incumbents of the office they are running for. Allred has endorsed candidates across the state who are running in key races that will have a vital impact on the future of Texas.
“Texas is the greatest state in the union but instead of helping everyday Texans, extremist Republican leaders have embarrassed Texas on the national stage by pursuing policies that only appease the furthest right of their base,” said Allred. “These candidates are working for a Texas we can all be proud of. I’m honored to support their efforts to win critical seats up and down the ballot and to overcome Texas Republicans’ efforts to suppress voter turnout and stand in the way of moving our state forward.”
Allred flipped a long-held Republican seat in 2018 and successfully defended it in 2020. He is working to support candidates who believe that Texas’s best days are within our grasp but that it will take the hard work of finding common ground to ensure every Texan can chase their version of the American dream.
Allred will provide political as well as financial support to these candidates and work to ensure they have everything they need to make their case to Texans before the November election.
Endorsed Candidates include:
Beto O’Rourke for Governor
Mike Collier for Lieutenant Governor
Rochelle Garza for Attorney General
Jay Kleberg for Land Commissioner
Michelle Vallejo for U.S. House of Representatives District 15
Andrew Sommerman for Dallas County Commissioners Court District 2
